What is the difference between PLEXIGLAS® and acrylic glass?
PLEXIGLAS® is a brand name such as Tempo for handkerchiefs. Acrylic glass is made from the special plastic polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA). This is a clear, glass-like plastic. In contrast to real glass, however, acrylic glass is shatterproof, has 92% light transmission, 2/3 lighter and has a heat-insulating effect. Another big advantage is the seemingly limitless processing possibilities and the long durability.
Disadvantage is the higher price in production and the high amount of work involved in processing. However, the possible applications are almost limitless. This puts the material glass on the sidelines. DS® acrylic glass, PLEXIGLAS® GS sheets in aquarium construction.

We take over the entire planning including assembly, with adapted, selected and high-quality technology components. We also take over the complete set-up and then the service work to ensure problem-free operation and long-term enjoyment of the aquarium.

Aquarium Round, Cylinder Aquariums

A special highlight, round, columnar or cylinder aquariums, also in large sizes, in freshwater aquaristics as well as in seawater aquaristics.
The round column shape fascinates every viewer and the material PLEXIGLAS® or DS® acrylic glass makes it possible to have any diameter and any height
to realize. Due to our experience, we are also able to glue the round aquarium on site and the tension-free. That means we don't have to temper the cylinder or the column-shaped aquariums, i.e. heat them up in a special oven without tension and cool them down again according to the plan
to eliminate all stresses caused by thermal processing. In this way we prevent the formation of frosted glass or stress cracks later on.
